~ By donating a bed equipped with all the facilities, one enjoys the pleasures of Indralok in heaven for 60000 years.
~ Apart from this, by chanting "Nandanandanam" while donating a cow, it does not fall into the river Vetrani.
~ In times of sorrow and illness, donating sesame seeds, iron, gold, cotton cloth, salt, seven grains, a piece of land, etc., purifies sinful deeds.

Method of donating a cow
~ Wear gold leaf on the horns of a black or brown cow and silver on its feet.

~ His dead body should be covered with two clothes and worshipped with vermillion and rice grains.
The daughter-in-law of the house and others should worship the corpse by circling around it and offering rice bran (laai) at the place of death. Doing so will appease Mother Earth and the divine powers. She is pleased.
Adorned with a garland of flowers, he should be led through the door accompanied by his son and relatives. At that time, the son should personally carry the dead father's body on his shoulders.
