।। Chapter 13।।The form of the ghost and its prevention

~ Garuda asks Lord Vishnu how humans who knowingly or unknowingly commit sinful acts can escape the tortures of the messengers of death. What actions lead to the formation of ghosts? What auspicious donations?By this one gets freed from the ghost world.
~ Shri Hari says that it is very difficult for the sinners and those who do not have a son to escape in both the situations.
~ To have a son, one should recite the Harivansa and worship Satachandi or Lord Rudra. However, departed souls ascend to heaven if their rites are performed without a son.In such a situation, it should be done by another person as per the prescribed method.
~ Those who are under the influence of accumulated karma of previous birth and indulge in sinful deeds, abandon their own religion and accept another religion, are deprived of knowledge and good conduct, they are born in the ghost world.
"Dharma" - On the path, beings with good nature walk.
"Artha" - meaning those who donate wealth and grains, go to the next world by plane.
"Kama" - The creatures who satisfy the desire of the desired seeker, ride on the shoulders and depart.
"Moksha" - Those who aspire for salvation go to the afterlife in a plane equipped with swans.
~ Story of King Babhruvahana:
In the Treta Yuga, there was a powerful, radiant, and popular king named Babhruvahana. His reign was full of prosperity. He respected and honored the Brahmins and observed their customs with complete devotion.Were.
One day, he went hunting in the forest with his ministers. They shot a deer. The wounded deer, along with the arrow, fled into the forest. The king followed in its trail of blood.He got lost in a desolate forest. Hungry and thirsty, the king came to a lake. After bathing in the lake and drinking cool water, he emerged and saw a beautiful fig.He saw a fig tree and sat down in its shade.
Within moments, he saw a terrifying ghost, tormented by hunger and thirst. The ghost appeared before the king and said, "O King, by your grace, today I have been freed from this misery."I am relieved. I am grateful to you.
When the king asked the reason for his plight, the ghost replied that he, too, was a king of a country. He regularly served Brahmins and performed charity. He also performed the Shraddha rituals for his ancestors on time.But it was all in vain because she had no children. There was no friend, no relative who could have performed my last rites after my death, which led to this misfortune. The king assured him that he would do whatever he asked him to do for his salvation.

~ There is also a purpose for releasing a bull. A bed, donations of feet to 13 Brahmins, and a gold pot filled with milk and ghee are offered after worshipping Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh.It is given as a donation to a Brahmin.
~ Coming out of the forest with his ministers, the ghost soul attained salvation through the rituals and Shraddhas performed by the king.
~ If the Shraddha rituals performed by an unknown person can give salvation to the ghost soul, then how much benefit can it be if performed by the son.
